Originally from California I have lived in Southern Oregon for the past 40 years. Travel has provided a wonderful source of inspiration for my art and locally I am inspired by old and unusual or quaint buildings, street scenes, and close-up views of doorways, windows and flowers. I can often be found with camera in hand capturing a chosen scene or sitting on a bench or rock doing a sketch of an object or view that will later become a work of art.
I work in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor as well as pen and ink. I am fortunate and thankful to have studied with many local and national artists. I am a member of Southern Oregon Society of Artists and Art du Jour Gallery in Medford.
The beautiful world the Lord has created is an adventure and joy to me. My desire is to use the ability He has given me, as an artist, to share what I see with others.
