Guest Artist Lane Hall’s Award-Winning Artwork and
Our “All That Jazz” Mardi Gras Feature Display!
Art du Jour is honored to present works in watercolor by our distinguished guest artist Lane Hall in our Salon from February 2 through March. Lane will be present at our Third Friday Art Walk receptions on February 19 and March 18 to meet our gallery visitors.
Lane Hall lives in the Rogue Valley and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SOU in 1986. He is represented by Total Arts Gallery in Taos, NM, and Marta Stafford Fine Art in Marble Falls, TX. Lane is a Platinum Member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon. He has won numerous awards in state, national and international competitions and recently received the Frances Nell Storer Memorial Award for his painting “Oak Burl” in the American Watercolor Society’s 148th International Exhibition in New York, and the Kanuga Watermedia Workshops Award for his painting “Creekside” in the National Watercolor Society’s 95th International Exhibition in San Pedro, CA. He is a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society and has had work published in North Light Book’s Strokes of Genius II, as well as The Best of Drawing Light and Shadow, Southwest Art and Watercolor Artist.
During February, several Art du Jour member artists will display Mardi-Gras-themed artwork on our “All That Jazz” featured wall. Enjoy works in watercolor, oil, pastel, charcoal, mixed media and perhaps some special surprises to celebrate this musically festive time of year.
Join us at Art du Jour Gallery on Third Friday, February 19 and March 18, 5 – 8 p.m., to meet guest artist Lane Hall and our Art du Jour artists.
